History of Storemill
Storemill 1.0
Storemill 1.0 was originally developed in 2003 as an in-house product for developing bespoke e-commerce websites. It was used successfully in many projects and incorporated a number of advanced features for the time. The original system was written in .Net.
Storemill 2.0
Development of Storemill 2.0 began in 2009 with a brand new architecture incorporating a built-in scripting engine. The user interface has been redesigned to take advantage of modern browsers and the product is available for anybody to use. It is possible to create standard stores almost instantly or fully bespoke stores by utilising the Storemill API.
