Out of the box, it is possible to create a standard store by selecting one of the pre-made themes when you create an account.
However, if you are a developer and wish to create an entirely bespoke e-commerce store, then it is possible to build your own theme. This is made possible through a powerful server-side scripting engine based upon industry-standard Javascript.
Core functionality is exposed via an extensive Storemill API, resulting in endless possibilities for creativity. The special tags <* and *> are used to contain any scripting code.
